AI-Powered Flood Risk Intelligence

for Vulnerable Communities

Protecting lives with data-driven early warning systems powered by AI and real-time sensor networks

Our Story

Why We Started

In the 2024 monsoon floods in Bangladesh 😢 the river rose quietly through the night and took one of our closest friends before anyone realized the danger 💔 By morning his small home had vanished beneath the water 🌊 and his aging parents were left grieving the loss of their only child 🕯️

We still remember how the flood arrived faster than any warning. That sorrow stayed with us 😔 and pushed us to ask a painful question:

"How many lives could be saved if people simply knew the danger before it arrived?"

The Problem

Why Early Warning Systems Matter

Climate Vulnerability in Bangladesh

  • Bangladesh faces devastating monsoon floods annually, affecting millions
  • Rising sea levels and climate change intensify flood severity
  • Low-lying regions like Sylhet suffer delayed warning systems
  • Communities lack real-time, hyperlocal flood risk data

24-48 hrs

Critical delay in current warning systems

Rainfall Monitoring

Current systems miss hyperlocal rainfall patterns

Soil Saturation

Ground conditions aren't monitored in vulnerable areas

Urban Mapping

Informal settlements lack flood risk assessment
